Gettysburg I am doing a newspaper article about Gettysburg. In this article I am going to tell you about the wars that went on in Gettysburg and the events that happened.
There was a battle called The Battle of Gettysburg. This battle happened at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in 1863 and this battle went on for three days. There were two Generals at this time, the Union General is George G. Meade, the Confederate General is Robert E. Lee. There was 82,289 soldiers in the Union Army. There were 75,000 soldiers in the Confederate Army. The events that happened during this time are Pickett’s Charge, The Devil’s Den, Assault of Culp’s Hill, Assault of Cemetery Hill, Defense of Little Round Top, Defense of Big Round Top, The Wheatfield, The Peach Orchard, Cemetery Ridge, 20th Maine Regiment, Battle of Gettysburg:Day 2, The Gettysburg Address, and The Gettysburg Address Text.
