I’m super excited that Elizabeth is picking me, the super sparkly silver high heel with her simple baby blue dress since she is having another girl's day! Elizabeth and her friends are going to see the new movie called Beach Blanket Bingo. When we all arrived at the theater, we need to stand outside in a long line.It was a beautiful Saturday spring evening with the joyful sound of children play, adults murmuring amongst themselves, and cars going by the smell of wonder flowers blooming and the buttery popping popcorn from inside, although I could hear the sirens from emergency vehicles in the background. Then, started shooting people. There was a lot of blood on the ground and people we trying to evacuate as fast as they could. Everyone was screaming and crying as we were exiting to the closest door to the left. When we got outside Elizabeth called the police and the others called their family.
‘“What is your name and emergency?” asked a female police officer.
“This is Elizabeth Marshall and there is a shooting at the theater on Colerain and Springdale, mama,” Elizabeth answered. “We are on the way now! Thank you for calling,” shouted the police officer.
Not long after she got off the phone I could hear the sirens getting closer.
I could see the firemen went into the theater to check if there were still people in there and getting them out, and the ambulance lifted people who were severely injured and the one who were not. Police officers were asking us questions as a group than individually.
“Did you get a good look at the shooter?” the police wondered.
“The shooter was a tall white man with brown hair,” Riddhi told them.
“What type of clothes was he wearing?” asked another officer.
