Beauty Pageants; have you heard of that phrase? I bet you did! According to Wikipedia A beauty pageant or beauty contest is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants, although some contests have evolved to also incorporate personality traits, intelligence, talent, and answers to judges ' questions as judged criteria. But little did we know that beauty pageants could also ruin a woman or a girl’s life. Today on the 20th of September, I would like to elaborate further what harmful objectives a beauty pageant could possess towards a Filipina lady and banning it in the Philippines is a must. Beauty pageants has been in the world for quite a long time now, and by the looks of it, we are merely focusing more on the outer traits of a woman such as her, beauty and body.
