Becoming a medical assistant is a career that can last a life time. Choosing a career as a military wife can be very difficult. Never really knowing where you will be sent next it is important to have a very versatile job with a potential of growth. There are a lot of factors that you must take into consideration while making a choice in your future career. Making sure that it is something you love, but also something that is functional. The military can send my family anywhere at anytime. Usually every four years you must move to a brand new state. My training program is only nine months. Within those nine months I can get a real education that took time, and dedication. You graduate with a certification that allows you to take your work anywhere. There are so many different places you can work as a medical assistant. These jobs range from hospitals, doctors offices, and any other healthcare facilities. This gives you such a wide range of personal career choices you can make. Once I become a medical assistant I will have a full-time job in a constantly growing field. Along with the finical security that comes with this certification there is always room for my personal growth. I could further my education in multiple different areas in the medical field. I would already have some basic fundamentals that would help me in any medical field job. I would also be able to be financially stable, and providing for my family while going back to school. I currently attend Brightwood College. I will graduate as a medical assistant in September 2017. I graduate with financial stability, steady full-time job, and the skills needed to help people. I will have peace of mind knowing that whatever state my family gets sent to I will be able to provide for them. I will have pride in my education, and what I will have achieved.
