Romanticism was a movement of art, knowledge and literacy that originated in Europe from end of 18th century to 1900. It was brought by the stresses of society and politics during the French Revolution, and the subsequent patriotic tendency. Thoughts and actions were dramatically presented, along with the controversies and illogicalities regarding freedom and oppression, aim and reason, socialism and capitalism, and so on. This instigated the creative artists, especially, to change how they think about human. The music nauseated against the practices of Haydn and Mozart, which toward rules and limits of Classicism. During this period, the central music activity had transferred to Paris from Vienna, and the supporters were no longer in relation to the musicians, because they did not need the help of patrons anymore

There were different kinds of unique styles presented during this time. For example, Beethoven, despite the fact that he was being classified as a Classical period composer, his style for the later works were generous, communicative, trick of death and life, excitement, concord. Since the majority of Romantic composers were in trouble of money, they mostly used Woodwind instruments to insert some additional affect to the piece, which were showing great look in the orchestra.
