Today in physical therapy facilities the therapist always evaluates , records the patient's progress and helps improve their movement and manage their pain. Therapists use varieties of techniques to help their patients , including hands-on therapy, strengthening and stretching exercises. Also provides stimulation or massage to promote the patient’s healing. I’m fit for this job because I have a great number of skills pertaining to this job but I also have weaknesses that might affect me getting this job. Being a physical therapist might sound like it’s a piece of cake but it’s way more to it than just teaching the patient a way to stretch. We can’t let what somebody has to say stop us from accomplishing what we want in life. We have to keep going because no one can get the job for us, you have to get the job and put in the work . I know that it can be hard keeping confidence within yourself, just continue to push to meet your goals. We have to display patience with our patient even when they don’t have the patience or they feel the need to give up. Holding your head up, keeping calm, and being encouraging even when the patient isn’t at their best so that will have the client feeling better even when in pain they would be fighting through it knowing they have a therapist that’s encouraging and sympathetic. …show more content…
They might be rude, disrespectful, and grumpy however we can not display their behavior. Even though I have a low tolerance for disrespect, I can be civil and put my patient care first.
