Ben Franklin, one of the founding fathers is a big part of why America is America today. His beliefs and values played a huge role in the process of making the United States. The beliefs and values of Ben Franklin did have an influence on his everyday life, it affected his actions, and the admiration of the results of his beliefs and values didn’t change. Franklin believed in education, “library afforded me the means of improvement by constant study, for which I set apart an hour a two each day…”. He was a business kind of person. He didn’t play any games. He was either educating himself or in his industry. “I spent no time in taverns, games, or frolics of any kind; and my industry in my business continued as indefatigable as it was necessary.”
