Benjamin Franklin, who was born into a large family in colonial Boston, argues and shows he is a good Colonial and future American by going to London as a delegate to help benefit the colonial states when Parliament put high tax on goods and eventually becomes a founding father to the United States. He travels between the governors of Pennsylvania and New York to help set up a plan of defense to protect the colonies. He was put in charge of finding wagons for the war effort, which he does by sending letters out requesting the wagons. After collecting the wagons, he makes care packages for the soldiers who will be using the wagons. He also draws up a plan for a government during the war. With him drawing up a government for during the war, Parliament got worried that the United States would be able to run itself. This caused them to send in their military forces to stop the United States from defending themselves. During the war, he worked hard to keep the troops supplies up. Franklin was always trying to help, support and defend the colonies in any way he could. By showing his support to the colonial unity and helping states become ready for the French and Indian War, he was assigned to the Pennsylvania Assembly in 1756 as the Commissioner to England.
