Benjamin franklin was a great man. One of the founding fathers, he was one of the most respected figures in American History. Franklin was one of the engineering mind behind the early success of our nation. As a diplomat, he worked tirelessly to add structure to our young and ambitious union. Franklin was also one of the most emblematic leader of the United States of America . Benjamin went on to accomplished many positive things for the American people. He was a major political figure, an inventor and a scientist. Franklin was also a worker,and philosopher. He served as a civic activist, a statesman, and a senior diplomat. He is regarded as a major American figure due to his scientific abilities.

Franklin received an honorary degree from the university of St Andrews and the University of Oxford. Benjamin Franklin taught Himself how to read, and how to speak French, Spanish, Italian,and Latin. Franklin’s passion for knowledge pushed him to open a great intellectual library to further advance his philosophical agenda. Other reasons lead us to certify that Ben is the first American, he was the one who was able to remedy the problem of fire. Seeing that most houses burned in his day he developed the fire department and created a new job for men; Brilliant invention that served us well. Ben has also pioneered infrastructure work in America by setting an example for other settlements. And his idea has allowed America to take its steps towards the world's greatest power.
