About sixty-seven years later, on June 10, 1966, White was shot and murdered near Pretty Creek in Natchez, Mississippi. His murderers were three hate-filled gunmen that were incorporated with the Ku Klux Klan, which is a group of people who believe that whites are more superior than blacks. The reason they wanted to murder White was to give Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. a motive to come to Natchez, White had no involvement in the Civil Rights Movement, until his devastating murder.

I know that with our high school football team I don’t want to be remembered as the kid that had it in him, just wouldn’t put in the effort and was focused on the wrong things. Instead, Mariota is the perfect role model for high school athletes because he never stopped his grind, he did what he set out to do and is only getting better. The way I see it is one can do all the talking and get all the attention in the world but if one doesn’t do anything with it then what 's the point? The way I see it is there is always work to be done, just because I might of reached the goals I’m aiming for, doesn’t mean that’s all for me to do, someone else is working for the same goals as me.
Almost 30 children were rescued off an island after their plane crashed about a month before on their return to England. They were returning on an airplane from a temporary boarding school that was designed like hundreds of others to avoid from involving children in this war. Since practices constantly take place they have required me to conscientious of my actions and remember my requirements of the next day and if what I am doing would hurt the team. Along with responsibility, the athletic program has birthed my competitive nature and principle of doing my best. The football team at Fyffe has an extremely competitive atmosphere since abating greatness cannot come without competing with the best and doing your best. The tendency to try my hardest has also followed me in the classroom where I constantly look for someone to try to beat in grades and scores, and attempt to make the highest grades possible.
I said, “ I know that, and I want to be on the field”. So I finally moved to wide receiver,WR, and could finally play safety. Coach Minnich would come to me in practice and just say,” Couldn’t do this playing quarterback”.
