Bend it like Beckham Bend it like Beckham is a movie, that is based on two ambitious 18-year-old girls who want to pursue playing professional football in the United State. Jess is crazy about football and dreaming of playing football professionally, just like her idol David Beckham. She only plays football in the park with her friends, and are naturally talented. Jules is also crazy about football and has the same dream. One day while Jess and her friends are playing in the park, comes Jules and look at them and becomes fascinated by Jess, she ask Jess if she is interested in joining hers team. Even though Joe is skeptical about a new player joining, he soon finds that Jess’ got skills on the football field. Playing football goes against Jess’ traditional expectations, Jess is determined to play on the girl team Although parents do not want her not to play football. While Jules mother also does not want her daughter playing so much football, and instead try to be a little bit more feminine.
