Shakespeare (often called 'the Bard') has created multiple literary masterpieces and is deemed 'the Father of English' because of his massive contribution to modern English. After Brutus joins, Brutus and a massive group of senators take upon killing Caesar the dictator for the future of Rome. This is an exceptional example of betrayal because Cassius has betrayed Brutus through manipulating him, ultimately leading to Caesar's untimely death. This would not have happened if Cassius had never altered Brutus's opinion. These examples highlight the theme of betrayal between characters within the play of Julius
