As the religion grew, Christianity became one of the most prominent religions in the Roman Empire.
During a time period that was present around 400 years ago, many colonists sought religious and economic freedom and decided to break away from the British government to form an independent nation. This area they inhabited is now called, the United States. In this time of great change, the colonists had to completely formulate a new government. Since one of the major motives for breaking off of Britain was for freedom of religion, it ended up becoming a good base for the building up of a new government. Religion gave many advantages to the growth of government through unifying the people, establishing power, and constructing order.
Christianity is a very important religion that is practiced by almost a third of the world’s population today. So why was this religion able to grow so much during ancient times? Inspired by Jesus Christ over two thousand years ago, Christianity faced several barriers along its road to prevalence in the world. During his lifetime, Jesus preached the Word of God until Roman officials felt threatened and eventually crucified him. After his death, however, Jesus’ apostles kept up his legacy and continued to preach God’s Word.
W.E.B. Du Bois, also known as William Edward Burghardt Du Bois was born February 23rd, 1868 in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. He referred to himself as a mulatto because he grew up in mostly European American Town. William attended school with whites and he teachers supported his academic studied. After school he attended Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee and that’s when he first analyzed racism within Americans. Once he received his first degree he went on to Harvard University to get his Master Degree and was selected to study abroad program at University of Berlin.

Religion has created and resolved many conflicts in civilizations. Throughout world history, religion has played a huge role of different societies due to the conflict that it can cause in cities, countries and even full continents. As time goes by, maturity within each religion progresses. Each religion has become more forgiving with their rules and guidelines which is a drastic difference to how it used to be when old countries used religions to unite and decide government rulers. Religion is a crucial part of civilizations, it can have many different positive and negative effects on the way countries move on.
Although African Americans were freed from slavery in 1865, they were not treated equally a century later. Throughout the 1960s there was racial injustice, especially within the southern state, which had laws that discriminated against African Americans. It was also an important decade for the Civil Rights Movement, which was supported by President John F. Kennedy before his assassination in 1963. Although the movement was supported by Kennedy, he took little action to progress racial equality during his presidency. After former Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson took office, he continued to fight for the equality of African American citizens.

Brave New World is a work of literature portraying a dystopian world. In this society, people are never sad or unsatisfied. In order to maintain stability, there are things that are abolished and kept away from society to keep everything running smoothly. One of these things is religion because it is seen as unnecessary and creates complications. On the other hand, the economy is widely worshiped and consumerism is a major key.
Both modernism and postmodernism worldviews approach ideas from a different perspective than the Christian worldview. The divisive central point is the reason for existence. Modernism and postmodernism are humanistic in structure. The Christian worldview is based on God. I was raised as a Christian and embraced the faith for many years. During this time, I read the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, rejecting all other religions as bogus, believing that Christianity was the only true pathway to God and salvation. A numinous experience is a type of religious experience when you recognize that you are in the presence of something greater than yourself.
