Frank Smith contemporary psycholinguists recognized for all the contributions in linguistics and cognitive psychology says, “One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way” (Smith). Bilingual individuals have shown that they can be more creative, better at planning, and solving problems. Parents who don’t speak the same languages as their children are tired because they cannot communicate with the young. The ones who suffer the most are the parents because they didn’t get an education and not an opportunity to learn other languages.
