Climate change is the change in global climate patterns. It has correlations to the carbon dioxide levels in the Earth’s atmosphere. Due to the atmospheric carbon dioxide levels, the main effect is on the rise of the average global temperature. The Earth has seen other effects on sea level rise, precipitation changes, and growing season changes. However, climate change has been disputed. This is due to the pockets of slowed climate change, increase in ice gains, and the Earth’s “carbon sinks”. All in all, these findings point to a verifiable link in climate change and the world.
The is an abundance in evidence that support the theory of climate change through the temperature and atmospheric carbon dioxide level increases and the

In order to negotiate with the raw carbon dioxide amounts, the Earth has pockets, globally, of what are called “carbon sinks”. These carbon sinks take many forms, such as oceans and forests. They redress the carbon dioxide produce by humans through the procedure of absorption, hence the name of “carbon sinks”. How they do this is through the carbon sinks is through the process of carbon sequestration. Carbon sequestration is when the carbon is removed from the atmosphere and deposited in reservoirs, such as plants and soil. This carbon sequestration is done in astonishing numbers. According to Corinne Le Quéré, director of the UK’s Tyndall Center for Climate Change Research and chair of the Global Carbon Project, “The global sinks are important because together they absorb about 55 percent of the carbon emissions coming from humans each year.” So, then there would be a negation in any progress, from human-produced carbon dioxide, that climate change could develop due to the action of “carbon sinks” (Kenward,2011) This is simply because with the “carbon sinks”, their plants and soil are absorbing the carbon dioxide. This is the Earth taking care of the carbon dioxide that man creates. The “carbon sinks” are an important part of the ecosystem because without them climate change would be a
