The Biological Domain- This domain deals with female and male anatomy and physiology, gender, and genetics. There are several aspects that make up the biological domain. One includes sexual differentiation, which is described by the differentiation into male and female. During the prenatal period, hormones that are produced help determine the specific reproduction organs of the child. Another aspect is sex hormones. These hormones are responsible for sexual differentiation in the womb and also play a large role in sexual pleasure/response, pregnancy, and child birth. Another aspect of the biological domain would be sexual orientation. This is how we categorize whether a person is heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual. There are many different factors that make up a culture in and how we express ourselves because of this culture. For example, religion greatly affects our specific beliefs, and what we do and do not do as far as sexual attitudes and behaviors. Another example of the cultural domain would be the media. It seems that a lot of people do not realize just how big of an impact the media has on what we do on a daily basis. For example, if a young person sees awful graphic images on social media, it may have a large impact on their life and the way that they think and carry themselves. With too much exposure to specific topics on social media, a young person may want to act like specific characters or people that they see in the media, whether it be good or bad. Another aspect of the cultural domain would be social identity, or how specific people define themselves, whether that be through their friend groups, or family, or race in general. Culture plays a large role in influencing our decisions and forming people a certain way. If we live in an area that strictly believes that a person should wait until they are married to have sex, and then we move to an area that does not hold those same values, we may experience a bit of culture shock. People are influenced by their culture in such a large way that even moving from place to place can have a large impact on a person if they have grown up believing a certain thing or living a certain way for so
