This song talks about the people that love you and support you. It talks about those that offered their shoulder when you need it the most. Those that have been there for you and are willing to do any favor for you. This would be a perfect example of what Basil wants to be to Dorian, while Dorian believes Henry is the only one that is able to understand how he feels. Once again how much he was influenced and that changed the way he was not able to realize the person who truly wanted him to be good. Basil and Henry in a way are the moral options Dorian had available to choose from. To him both were friends that helped him and realized influenced him. Basically, Basil and Henry represent the opposite influences of good and evil as is trying to take over Dorian’s soul.
