Bo Jackson is an epic hero. He is a sports legend. He has changed the lives and ideologies of many people. He didn’t follow society’s norms. He played the sports he wanted to, which lead to him playing two professional sports, football and baseball.
Andrew Jackson was known during his presidency due to the significant events and changes. First, he promoted democracy. To promote democracy, he allowed more citizens to take part in government (Spoil System) and vetoed the bill to renew the charter to prevent rich people from taking advantage. Also, he expanded white male suffrage (the right to vote). Second, Nullification Crisis.
Andrew Jackson during his time was considered a very patriotic politician he hated the rich, he hated the Indian, and loved the idea of slavery. It has been said that he grew up not educated and had a bad up bring but still managed to get to a high political suture. Jackson at one point was general and had a very decorated portfolio, which made sense he would become president, Andrew was most well know for “The Battle of New Orleans” where Andrew Jackson, prevented the British Army and General Edward Pakenham, from seizing New Orleans nearing the end of that war.

He became a well-known person in the civil rights time for many reasons. Jackson was born on December 16, 1938, in Marion, Alabama. In his early life, he became a civil rights activist at a young age from 1938-1965. Only at the age of 26, was Jackson shot and severely beaten by a state trooper named James Bonard Fowler. Jackson was shot during a peaceful voting rights march on February 18, 1965.
In my opinion, Andrew Jackson was a good president because he was one of the most successful and interesting presidents. The Common Man always held special place in America, but with Jackson, he rose to the top of the American political power system. In the campaign of 1828, Jackson, know as “Old Hickory,” triumphed over the aristocratic, reclusive and unpopular incumbent President John Quincy Adams. Andrew Jackson was also the only President of the United States to pay off the national debt on January 8, 1835. Jackson’s strong personality and controversial way incited the development of an opposition party, the Whigs.
