Body Obsession Can Become Disorders Imagine trying hard to keep your weight down and realizing your obsession becomes a disorder. Our everyday media and peer pressure can show a desire to look better even if it affects our health. Some of the major disorders include depression, eating disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. Feeling better about ourselves and having a better self-esteem can change our feelings, thoughts and behaviors which can lead to a mental disorder.
