Acceleration By elijah washmuth My third SSR book is called Acceleration by Graham Mcnamee. This story is about a Guy named Duncan. He works at a transit authority's lost in found,with is friend named Vinny. One day after Duncan finds a lost diary on a subway train, He looks through it and finds that it belongs to a serial killer. While his is look though the book he sees writing about him starting major fires,killing stray cats and people. Duncan thinks that this book is a clue to find a killer. So he takes it home and reads the book. The serial killer's name was roach (a name that Duncan gave him). The main problem in the story is that Duncan found a serial killer's journal. While they were going through the book they found and recight to a hardware store. On the recircu, it said emp dis,which he worked there because that stands for employee discount. So went there and looked for him. He was a grid with red hair. They called him red. So they followed red to the train and to his home. The problem is resolved when they follow him into the house,and roach goes into his home. All of a sudden,roach leaves his home unlocked, So duncan and vinny goes into his house look around and find sssssssss,NOTHING,NOTHING AT ALL. Roach goes up the stairs to give boxes to someone and Duncan sees a thin flash of a knife blade catching the light. Roach goes to his desk and finds that his pictures was moved by duncan. Lucky, Duncan is hidden, but if he moves an inch roach will know. Roach moves toward Duncan’s location. Duncan realises that he has to make a run for it and runs and the door. Roach is chasing he and knocks he down to the ground on one knee. Duncan and roach start fight each other and Duncan gets away and roach chases him. Before that Roach knifes Duncan in the legs.
