I finished the book Famous Last Words by Katie Alender with 312 pages. This book is about a girl, Willa, who is suffering from hallucinations and memories from a ghost; also, do not forget her recent move to Los Angeles. Her new found friend, Wyatt, has been looking into the latest news on the “Hollywood Killer.” With Willa’s clues from a ghost and Wyatt’s gathered information, they both team up to find this man or woman roaming Los Angeles. In this paper I will be evaluating and predicting.
This first paragraph will be evaluating the ghost, Paige Pollen, and her motives. Why did Paige choose to haunt Willa, why not some random guy in Oregon, or someone that lives in Europe? As there are many answers to this deep question, one could be her position, where she …show more content…

The writing always gave Willa clues, whether or not if she knew what they stood for. One example was part of a script one of the victims read, and another was “Henry 818.” Towards the end of the novel, Willa finds that Henry is a character in a murder scene Paige was forced to play in; Reed played Henry. She also found that 818 stood for August 8th; Paige’s date of death. The last major hallucination Willa receives multiple times would be rose petals. When Willa thought she was going to die, she saw a rose petal, a sign that Paige was there. Other times there was a trail of rose petals that guided Willa to evidence or a clue. Willa also receives visions from Paige. She has seen and felt what some of the victims were feeling and saw from their eyes. Through these visions, she has gathered a lot of information and put some pieces together about the Hollywood Killer and his ways. Willa has caught some of the lines in the script the victims read and the different settings as well. The last form of connections Willa receives from Paige was through physical contact. At the moment, Willa did not understand, but Paige unscrewed all of the lightbulbs in her bathroom and was
