The concepts that I enjoy learning this week is hearing about the different stories of my classmates that I have not have the chance to know about before. Furthermore, I enjoy reading the novel Fahrenheit 451 as our first book of the year. In addition, I have heard many good reviews from this book before and I have never had the chance to actually
Mercy, a concept describing compassion or forgiveness towards someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm. As a humanitarian, future world leader and citizen of America I’d like to think that the world I live in is a forgiving place where everyone gets a second chance. Unfortunately, in the court of law, this is not always true. By reading Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson I found that it is very hard to acquire justice and redemption to many civilians who have been incarcerated.
