In a short period of time, I will discuss the history of boxing. As well as providing information about the requirements to join, information about the levels of championships, boxers’ profits , children’s boxing and health issues of both youth and professional boxers.
Boxing is a simple sport. Two competitors standing toe to toe in a ring. Exchanging punches. But the history of boxing traces back to ancient Greece, where it was part of the Olympic Games. It experienced a revival of popularity in the 18th century in bare-knuckle form, but it wasn’t until marques of Queensbury published rules in 1867 that boxing took the form we see today. The requirements to join boxing that boxers must be in tremendous physical condition. No formal education necessary, thought athletes go through extensive training, generally starting during or before high school age. Professional boxers need to be licensed in a state to fight.

The klitschko brothers , Vitali and Vladimir, Held all five major titles in the heavyweight division. Boxer’s don’t earn a regular salary, rather a purse for each fight. The pay for professional boxer varies widely. The boxer’s manager negotiates the purse in the contract on a case-by-case basis before the fight. Pay ranges from a couple of hundreds of dollars to millions of dollars per fight and is highest for popular fighters in televised and title
