Brazil, the largest country in South America. It is the fifth largest country in the world by land area and population. This country was founded by the Portuguese, even though they were not the first ones there. This is why the official language of Brazil in Portuguese. However, Brazil has changed a lot after it’s independence from the Portuguese. Brazil has a growing economy that is one of the largest economies in the world. Also, it is affecting the world in a positive way by decreasing deforestation. Brazil has many relations with people in the world around us allowing them to be the most influential country in South America. The Amazon Rainforest located in Brazil provides the most essential thing for people to live; it provides oxygen. More than 20 percent of the world’s oxygen is produced in this forest. This is a lot of oxygen produced only in one place. This is why the Amazon Rainforest is described as the “Lungs of our Planet”. Brazil faces some problems, but they try to overcome them with even greater success. These problems are not stopping Brazil from growing, it is only making it better. Brazil is impacting the world more and more as time passes and as it grows to be an even better country. Other than the growing economy that is passing the strong and powerful countries, Brazil has the valuable resources that are wanted by many.
