Breast cancer is cancer that’s starts in the breast. Cancer occurs when the cell gains the ability to keep dividing without control or order, producing more cells just like it and forming a tumor. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among woman in American along with skin cancer. “Breast Cancer” refers to a malignant tumor that has developed from cells in the breast. Ductal carcinoma and Lobular carcinoma are the two forms of breast cancers. Ductal carcinoma usually begins in the lining of the milk ducts(thin tubes that carry milk from the lobules of the breast to the nipple). Lobular Carcinoma usually begins in the lobular (milk glands) of the breast.

You should check on your health frequently because if you detect cancer late you have a higher risk of getting all the side effects from cancer. Catching cancer late could have you going through tons of therapy and having to have your breast removed. Overall cancer reduction is to stay healthy and monitor your body. Tests used to diagnose and monitor patients with breast cancer may include: Breast MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), breast ultrasound, breast biopsy, CT (computed tomography) scan, Mammography, PET (positron emission tomography) scan and Sentinel lymph node biopsy. Breast MRI to help better identify the breast lump or evaluate an abnormal change on a mammogram. Breast ultrasound shows whether the lump is solid or fluid-filled. Breast biopsy use methods such as needle aspiration, ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, or open. CT scan checks if the cancer has spread outside the breast. Mammography screen for breast cancer or help identify the breast lump. PET scan checks if the cancer has spread. Sentinel lymph node biopsy checks if the cancer has spread to the lymph
