Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ and Hanukkah is the festival of light they come together on 25th of December that is when the last four days of Hanukkah ending

Hanukkah and Christmas are religious holiday. Hanukkah is a holiday that is celebrated by Jews to honor and remember the holy temple during the rebellions against empire that were lit every day in the temple which is why it celebrated in of December. Christmas is holiday that is celebrated by Christians. This holiday was for the memory of the birth of a baby that was born on December 25 which why people celebrate it by having a feast and going to church just like Hanukkah different reason yet there celebrated at the same time.

How are Christmas and Hanukah alike. Most people call Hanukkah the Jewish Christmas, they call it that because of the similarities of the holidays. Reasons why some people believe there the same thing cause ` both celebrated in December but there not celebrated for the same reason. These to holidays are from different religions and only Hanukkah is celebrated by actual Jews and Christmas can really be celebrated by any religion due to the fact that Christmas has lost it reason of how and why it celebrated in the first place it has lost it purpose because there more activity in Christmas that don’t relate to Christianity. There more likely to celebrate Christmas only because it celebrated in schools and most place do it and there are more Christians than Jews. Also that there is less Jewish community so they seem to lose their culture and might even convert to a different religion which make them forget what they already
