Egyptian and American culture Culture is very important it shows us the behaviors, beliefs, values, where people are from and who they are. It is important to learn and understand other people culture and why different they act. There are some significant differences and similarities between Egypt and the United States culture and they are communication style, celebrating holidays and Religious believe. First of all, Egyptian communication style is a lot different from the American style. In

In Egypt Muslim people celebrate Ramadan and Eid and Christian people Celebrate Halloween and Christmas. In the first day of
Ramadan the whole family gathers to gather in my grandparents. Also we invite friends and neighbors over and share food. In the United States people also celebrate Halloween, Christmas,
Easter and thanks giving. Also in Egypt some people celebrate thanks giving and for Muslim people we have thanks giving everyday we thank our family and god everyday by praying and fasting. In Egypt some people say Easter day is only for Christian, so they do not celebrate it, but me and my family used to celebrate Easter in Egypt and we really enjoy it. Finally, religious beliefs in the United States everyone have the right to practice whatever religion they want. Also in Egypt everyone have the right to choose they own religious. In the United States people have practice many religion like Christianity, Hinduism, Islam and others.

In the USA and Egypt some people do not interested in practice religious, so not everyone do. Its

their business no one will force them to practice a religious or do anything they do not want
