In the story ẗhe ¨Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell there are 3 conflits. The first one is Man versus Man. Second one is Man versus Self. The third is Man versus nature.

One conflict in “The Most Dangerous Game” is Man versus Man. For example, in this story General Zaroff and Rainsford have conflicting views about hunting. General Zaroff wants to hunt people, but Rainford wants to animals. General Zaroff says to Rainford, “‘ Your brain against mine. Your wood craft against mine. Your strength and stamina against mine.”’(10). General Zaroff is challenging Rainford to play the ‘Most Dangerous Game’. Rainford wants to leave the island because he does not want to play the game. General Zaroff insist that Rainford has to hunt people.
