There were many topics throughout the class I found interesting. The topic that stood out to me the most was the topic of Buddhism. Buddhism was founded by Siddhartha Gutama around 550 BC. Siddhartha Guatama was a prince born into the Kshatriyas Caste, near the Himalaya Mountains. Buddha came about when Guatama, arose from his meditation and was now known as Buddha, “the enlightened one”. Buddha and his followers spread his teachings to others. His main ideas were broken into Four Noble Truths. The Four Noble Truths were one all life is full of suffering, pain and sorrow. Second, the cause of suffering is one’s desire for things which are nothing more then illusions, such as riches, power and long life. Third, the only cure for suffering
