Budweiser, one of the top beer companies in America released a new heart dropping commercial called “Lost Puppy.” The adorable, loving, and independent young golden retriever has taken the commercial networks, beer enthusiasts, and puppy lovers by storm. The popular commercial has easily hit over 14 million views on Youtube since its release during the Super Bowl. The effective commercial uses great emotion to intrigue viewers into watching the full length story. Budweiser uses the power of bond and friendship between the owner and his prized possession to capture viewers into watching the commercial. Unexpectedly a wolf shows up and is grinding his pointed and terrifying teeth at the pup. By this time the commercial has our soft and sensitive hearts rapidly beating with anger. As were about to jump out of our seats.. The horses then escape their stall and come to the rescue. During the fearful times in our life we naturally want to do whatever we can to shake off threats towards ourselves, and also our friends and that’s exactly what the horses did.

The commercial continues to do more than persuade the viewers, it also shows them the need to achieve a life long friendship. Then proceeds to use very persuasive tactics such as emotion and the need to achieve. The commercial uses achievement as obtaining a lifelong friendship such as with the horses and the pup.
