Our flag is a sacred symbol of the United States its colors stand for what America believes in: Our country, our children, our military and loved ones, and our very lives. This symbol is a very important part of society and stands tall amongst the world and its many allies. Although America has one thing most countries don’t and that’s tolerance. As the land of the free we’ve became very tolerant to ideas such as Islamic laws and even immigration from other countries. One thing we do as Americans is out of the question and that’s our constant uncensored rebellion against our own country in an unordered manner. The people are not happy with our way of life and by that they decide the metaphorically ‘burn our country.’ This is a sign of disrespect that doesn’t need to happen, especially since our ancestors died in the line of duty to even give people the right to touch the flag much less burn it. Protests go a long way but burning our national symbol is ungodly and unprecedented for the matter of what is really happening, small matters don’t deserve the major action of burning our symbol. The people are to used to being pampered and getting their way to, to the extension where they protest if you say one word that goes against their opinion they riot because they were ‘triggered.’ The burning of our flag shouldn’t go unpunished because our country is more free than other in the world, its disrespectful for what every man and woman has died for in pursuit of those who threaten our democracy. Of course, there will be some disapproval in the country and how its run but that’s no excuse to disrespect the country that helps everybody in
