First, the courts should closely monitor the number of times that child has experienced physical, emotional, and neglect abuse within the three months. It’s important that the abuse against the child is consistent and not a one-time offense. Almost all parents have disciplined their child in one form or another including yelling or spanking them. In fact, approximately ninety-four percent of parents in the U.S. has spanked their child (Cauffman,
The incidence of child abuse and neglect has increased dramatically in the past 25 years; the statistics have risen over 130% since 1980 with 1993 being the first year since 1972 in which the number was less than the previous year. Throughout the years child abuse has had a greater impact on the United States and more thorough research has been brought out. The United States has one of the worst records among industrialized nations, losing more than four children on average every day to child abuse and neglect.(cite source) Among the many forms of child abuse are emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. Physical abuse has statistically been in the lead since the 1980’s at 45%, while emotional abuse has been at 22% and sexual abuse has been at
Emotional abuse covers things such as ongoing emotional maltreatment and emotional neglect of a child, such as threats, intimidation, and isolation. Neglect is not meeting the individual’s basic needs such as food, shelter, educational needs, love ect. (NSPCC 2016)

Before that, culturally parents used to be thought to have a right to treat their children and also battered women’s shelters appeared with the term “spouse abuse” in 1972. This type of abuse includes whooping a child, kicking, punching, and any other harmful hand-to-body inflictions performed by an adult. Whereas in child neglect, some adults
For example, littering is very common and people that throw their trash on the floor or in the bush do not realize who that is affecting around them. Not only does littering just create a nasty and unhealthy environment people around, especially those very young, will learn from the actions they witnessed. A young kid seeing his dad or even a random person throw trash on the floor will trigger something in their brain telling them that is an okay thing to do, so they begin to throw trash on the floor when no trashcan is available. In addition to littering, noise pollution is unnoticingly hurting everyone around, especially for those that live in an apartment or houses very close together. Some people have stricter schedules than others, so while one person needs to be asleep by ten in order to be awake for work or school early in the morning others around might not need to be asleep until one or two in the morning.
The types of physical abuse could be punching, slapping, kicking, throwing objects, pinning you down, pushing, or choking. Physical abuse could occur because the abuser wants power in the relationship, drugs and alcohol, or because he had seen his family abused when he was a kid. Neither of those are an excuse to put someone in that kind of situation and they need serious help but if the victim can’t help them and can’t get anyone to help him then it is only going to end up with them going to prison. Even if any one of these only occurs one it could be a sign that abuse could occur in the future and it could happen again.
What "normies" don't understand about addiction is it's not a choice. Once an individual crosses that imaginary line and becomes addicted to a substance, they are in the grips of an illness that takes no prisoners. At that point, the only way back to a normal way of living is by getting help from a professional treatment center that specializes in drug and alcohol addiction. If you live with addiction in the Shreveport region of Louisiana, you should know there are at least eight quality rehab centers supporting local residents. Shreveport is the third largest city in the state with almost 200,000 resident.
The major drawback of the Criminal Code is the fact that it does not address elder abuse specifically. Instead, this code operates in areas such as “child abuse, sexual assault and spousal violence” (Donovan & Regehr, 2010, p.177). However, elder abuse must be included in other Criminal Code provisions. For example, financial abuse cases can be considered through provisions related to robbery, falsification or fraud (Donovan & Regehr, 2010). Physical abuse episodes are addressed under the provisions of homicide, assassination and other physical assault.

Emotional abuse is sometimes also known as psychological abuse, which is the continuing emotional violation of a person by another and can have a severe impact upon a person’s life. It can comprise intentionally trying to intimidate, scare, frighten or humiliate a person. Emotional abuse leaves the offender free to gain authority and control over someone through his behaviors, language and gestures, which with the passage of time reduce the person’s sense of self-worth, self-belief and confidence. Due to the fact that psychological abuse contains no physical torture and there are no visible physical signs, sometimes, it can be hard to identify it.
