In 1980 the most feared terrorist group came into play. The Haqqani Network is a militant, non-governmental, family-run organization from South-Asia and is one of the reasons for the United States’ and Pakistan’s failing relationship. The Haqqani network is one of the most feared terrorist organisations for their affiliations with Al-Qaeda and the Taliban, two of the most well- known terrorist groups. This group uses fear to intimidate and persuade the public to accept their ideologies through mass suicide bombings, kidnappings, car and infrastructure bombings. With the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, journalists tried to convince the public that they were going to free Afghan women from the oppression they were facing. But the history of Afghanistan makes it clear that they do not need any support or western influence from Western societies. This is why the Haqqani Network is trying to get rid of all westernisation in Afghanistan as in their culture they do not need any help from more developed countries. Therefore the organisation is
