Set in Yazoo City, Mississippi in the 1940s, My Dog Skip is an autobiography written by Willie Morris portrays the lively and remarkable relationship he had with his dog(Skip) through the adventures they had together in Willie’s childhood. The book describes all the notable memories Willie and Skip have in the past. Luckily to Willie, his friends came easy. One time in middle school, Willie felt sorry for always seeing Skip just watch them play football on the sidelines. In attempt to incorporate his best friend, Willie cuts a lace to the football in order to allow him play his friends.

The play Dog Act is an unconventional play written in a post-apocalyptic setting during which the main characters Zetta and Dog are on an adventure to see "China," a famous region in the world at the time of the play. Liz Duffy Adams, the playwright, wrote the play and relayed her blueprints, the script, to directors Mandy Fox and Joe Kopyt, who worked with designers to create and present a world of their own imagination based on Adams ' script. The unique interpretation included eccentric costumes for each character, bold yet subtle implications toward sexuality and gender, as well the moving storylines executed well by the actors. The costumes a character wears are often indicative of their personality, class, and their overall characterization.
On 11/26/17, at approximately10:47am, I Deputy Warden N. Christian with Franklin County Animal Care and Control (FCACC) was dispatched to 3269 E. 12th on on a dog at large, patrol only. I arrived on scene at approximately11:25am, I was flagged down by a unknown African American male who pointed out the location of a pit bull (black) loose behind the above stated address. I took a picture of the pit bull loose. I exited my vehicle and approached the pit bull. I was able to place a leash on the pit bull without any issues.

One example is that some animals can get a disease called zoochosis and it is shocking what zoos will do when trying to hide it. There are also cases of animals being given antidepressants to hide their unhappiness from visitors. Wild animals are called “wild” for a reason. How can we be educated about wild animals when we are not seeing them in their natural environment? Captivity lacks the ability to show animals true behaviors. A polar bear’s enclosure is one-millionth the size compared to its home in the wild (Derr). With nowhere to go the polar bear ends up spending 25% of its day pacing and walking around in tight circles (Derr).
This explains that animals have a small chance of going back to the wild. To add on to that, Some zoos don’t provide the things that animals animals need. A bear starved to death at the Toledo Zoo after zoo officials lock her up to hibernate without food or water (Baker). This piece of evidence means that zoos sometimes don’t give animals the things that they need. There should not be zoos because they treat animal
Throughout history there have been many myths concerning a great flood that challenged the humans and animals at the time, from the story of Noah’s Arc to the tale of the Yellowstone Valley. Some are harsher than others, but all teach a lesson. In addition, many are part of different cultures. For example, the story of Baucis and Philemon is Roman, Deucalion and Pyrrha is Greek, and the Great Flood of the Yellowstone Valley is Native American. Within the stories consist of both similar and different details, such as what morals were taught and the types of roles people played.
