In the writings of David Harvey is the quote, “The drive for capital accumulation is the central motif in the narrative of historical-geographical transformation of the western world in recent times and seems set to engulf the whole world into the twenty-first century.” (Page 216) This quote means that capitalism is transforming from its’ primary function into a more modernized technique.
