Logan is a good movie based on how we see the archetype of the cause fighter, and now we will uncover on how other films are different from each other. In the Green Arrow, we see that the archetype of the cause fighter, with The Green arrow killing the enemies, back and forth, we also see that he tortures many enemy commanding officers till death. He kills to protect the city and the citizens within it. In daredevil, the lawyer from new york was erupted with super powers after he lost his sense of sight from a radioactive substance when he was
Reading "Superman and Me" gave me conflicting feelings. Of course, the tale of a young boy striving to succeed in and environment where he is nearly required to fail is thrilling, yet it really makes you think of the environment itself. He was a young Indian child living on a reservation; however, he recognized that he was an intelligent person. Others around him tried to quiet him because Indian children were supposed to be dumb. Sherman Alexie wanted more out of life.
It was very dangerous to be out there in war this book “American Sniper” was amazing. This story was based on a true story and they had a lot of action in it. They involved shooting and other things. Chris was a man who was very brave and care a lot for his family. He never gave up on anything.
No Hero: The Evolution of a Navy Seal No Hero: The Evolution of a Navy Seal was written by Mark Owen with Kevin Maurer in 2014. Mark Owen was born in 1976 and grew up in Alaska. He is formally a member of the SEAL Team Six, also known as US Naval Special Warfare development group. He served several years as a SEAL and has taken part in many missions around the world.
The Boy in the Red Bandana was an inspirational person for many reasons. He worked in buisness, but he had always wanted to be a firefighter. On the tragic day of 9/11, he stepped up to bat with the baseball was coming at full force. That’s when Welles decided that he would risk his life for the purpose of saving others. Welles has inspired many people with his story of kind human nature, and that is exactly the type of good influences the world needs.
The article was a well written research paper, although the arguments are not very strong. As for an overall grade I would give it a C. The title is "Clint Eastwood: Timeless Icon or Spurious Miscreant," the author did not seem to lean towards one or the other. Instead leaving it to the reader to decide with an icon is because of how they make the reader feel.
When the world was full of chaos, violence, and war. Only one person could keep us safe, we needed a dedicated leader that would be willing to make the world a better place. And the person who could help and save us was Chris Kyle. Chris Kyle was a dedicated member of the Seal Team and a sniper on the team. He served four tours in the Iraq war.
It was good as far as WW1 movies can be in my opinion. On the other hand, I am not generally captivated by war, and
The plot is so amazing because it first begins with all of the past superheros and the backstory of the main villain. It shows how the characters first came to be and what they were like. The plot has many parts that relate to our society, like moving to a new place for work, losing a job, bending the rules to assist people, and everything like that. These actions make the movie more realistic even though it is not because of all the fictional parts. The middle of the story shows how the main character do not use their powers so they can fit into their society without being detected.
A salient issue that I thought of while watching this film was the recent Ebola breakout. Ebola has been around for a very long time, but with today’s technology and medicine it’s not as much of a big deal. Ebola and the Black Death are so much alike that scientists believe the Black Death was Ebola or an ancestor of it. Some symptoms of Ebola are headaches/ body aches, fevers, vomiting/ diarrhea, and blood blisters develop under your skin. How Ebola kills you is it makes your immune system attack you’re own organs and your blood vessels burst so you bleed to death.
Batman vs Superman For my compare and contrast paragraph I chose Batman vs Superman. Batman and Superman are alike in a lot of ways but there some differences. There are both alike because they are both super heroes, both from DC, and both are good at what they do. Batman in different from Superman is that Batman can’t fly and Superman can fly because his powers. Another thing is that Batman fights in Gotham the most crime ridden city.
It showed that people can defend their country simply by saving lives instead of killing and that it is possible to maintain a belief, not let others undermine your faith, and be an exceptional, courageous human being even under extreme peer pressure, which is a problem in today’s society. The way Desmond was treated and the military’s response to him being a “conscientious objector” infuriated me; he proved through his actions that conscientious objectors are just as beneficial as any other soldier, maybe even more in Desmond Ross’s case. I think that the term conscientious objector is very demeaning and should not be the term that describes Desmond or other men like him; I believe, like Desmond stated himself, that they should be designated as conscientious cooperators, because just because they hold certain beliefs they are not objecting to serve their country. I have not seen the movie Hacksaw
Joseph Campbell noticed a recurring pattern that in myths from around the world, the most popular myths were the hero’s myth. The Hero’s myth identifies the different stages of a hero’s journey. The different stages in the journey include, the birth/beginning, the call to adventure, helpers/amulet, crossing the threshold, the tests, helpers, climax/supreme ordeal, flight, return, elixir, and home/end. The movie, Captain America: The First Avenger, Steve Rogers just an ordinary man who wants to join the army to help defeat the Germans in World War 2. Rogers registered for the army but failed, due to his health conditions.
Life of Pi film analysis I found the movie, Life of Pi, very beautiful. The richness of all the colors of the trees, the animals, the ocean, all of it was just beautiful. Not only was the quality of the visuals amazing but they also took what you would think would be the most boring story you could think of, a guy on a boat for 227 days with nothing to do but survive, and made it an action packed film that kept you on the edge of your seat the entire length of the movie. I give props for taking the book and making an exciting movie that I really loved out of it.
I would also like to commend the background music used in the film, for it was appropriate for the scenes. Another thing that caught my attention was how the title cards were arranged at the start of the film when they were talking about how life was in both Metropolis and in Worker’s City. When the title cards were explaining the latter, the words looked like they were descending while when it was about Metropolis, the sentences formed an arrow pointing up. It’s not much, but I found it very clever for some sort of signs to be present (Dirks,
