It is around midnight April 14, 1912 the Titanic has just hit an enormous iceberg, it is the captain's job to make sure everybody is safe. However more than 1500 people died that fateful night. Was this captain Smith's Fault? You might think that it was Bruce Ismay who sank the Titanic because he wanted the last four boilers lit, but Captain Smith listened but didn’t have to. Captain smith might have sank the due to these three reasons. Smith agreed from a passenger that he should light the last four boilers to get to New York quicker, Smith cancelled the the safety drill because of a party, on top of that he ignored the iceberg warnings. In a result of captain smith canceling the drill thousands died, and no one had any clue what to do when this magnificent ship actually was sinking to the ocean floor. If captain smith did not cancel the safety drill the people of the ship would know what life boat to get on, how to get on the lifeboats safely, and the crew would know how to get passengers into the water. If the safety drill happened the passengers would get notice and immediately head up to the lifeboats without panic. If there was no panic from the passengers of the titanic would be less choose on the decks and the ship would be more organize . Another important reason is the crew members, many people know that the crew did many things wrong. If the crew performed the safety drill the deck would be less chaotic and the crew would be incontrol of the passengers possibly saving more lives. Also if the crew had the safety drill the crew would make it clear that mom’s and children would get on the lifeboats. If the men knew ahead of time that they could not get on the lifeboats there would be less chaos. However nobody knows for sure why captain smith cancelled the safety drill but we do know that he
