The three careers I chose to examine were IT Security Administrator, Forensics Investigator, and Obstetrician Gynecologist. I chose these careers because I discovered that the employment rates for these jobs are expected to grow at a faster than average 37% from 2012-2022. This is because data security threats are growing and with more digital technology rising, more organizations have become victims of cyber crimes. The other career is what I want to be. Internet Security Administrators, also known as computer security specialists, or Internet security specialists, protect computer systems against attack.
I walked into English that morning just like every morning since August. I took my seat and sat down, talking with Amir and Rebecca as usual. Everything normal, except the unveiling of a new essay. I groaned and got myself ready for the upcoming speech. Ms. Beddingfield started the speech and I managed to keep attentive, not that she 's boring.

The level of respect shown between peers and also between the staff and students was unlike any educational setting I had previously been exposed to. Additionally, I attended two or three seminars daily that invited both staff and guest speakers to introduce new topics and ways of life. I was introduced to topics such as knot theory, programming, feminism, higher dimensions, the history of waste disposal, game theory, general relativity, and string theory. I was able to interact with adults from all walks of life.
I had run for the position, believing I would do what was best for my class. In the beginning, I was excited having conjured a plethora of ideas, ready to enact and perform them all. The very first meeting I walked in chest puffed out and a smile on my face. The class sponsor started the meeting, asking if any of us had any ideas. Open Season had begun!
The overall semester definitely had its up’s and downs . As a Peer Mentor I have learned to appreciate my hardwork much more and also learned that speaking up a lot is key to key action to many things. One of my goals for the semester as a Peer Mentor was to get to know my peer mentees on a friendship level or maybe as acquaintances. That goal actually came true in a way because I only made three acquaintances only. Another goal I had throughout the semester was to go outside of my comfort zone a little, I really didn 't like to talk in front of the class.

I learned many things at InstaCareer that will assist me in preparing for a career fair or networking event. One thing I learned is to wear either a suit, or the equivalent of a suit without the jacket. This will make me look more professional, and marketable to potential employers. Another thing I learned is it is better to have a professional looking portfolio to carry my resumes around in. This will accomplish two things for me.
Being the clinician and conducting an intake interview was one of the most the practical, informative, and thought-provoking assignments I have completed throughout undergrad thus far. While allowing me to practice clinical interviewing skills, I learned how difficult yet essential various skills were in order to successfully complete an intake process. Specifically, I found taking a direct approach and asking specific questions was most successful. For example, with my client, Ian, I was able to find out the most relevant information about his manic tendencies through asking him specific questions. His intake form described having manic tendencies in the past, though there was not enough information there to really get to the core reason for
During my career teaching I have had extensive experience developing art curricula and implementing new courses at various levels. In Scotland I was tasked with designing, developing, demonstrating and implementing a curriculum for primary schools. This included delivering the necessary in-service to primary coleagues to equip them to teach appropriate art lessons to their pupils. The course was designed to help Primary Teachers to teach the six basic art elements to all stages from P1- P6 while developing age appropriate materials, resource packs and lesson plans for teachers.
My job at the foodlion grocery store in Roebuck was an unenjoyable working experience to say the least. When I first began working at Foodlion the job was fun and I enjoyed it but as time went on it got worse and worse. As time went on the longer I worked there the more disrespectful my co-workers and supervisors got.
Scoring a fifteen in the life balance section of the profile solidified the idea that I am doing well at managing my time. As a person who loves a decent challenge, I always strive to push myself to take on more obligations even when it may seem my plate is already full. I thrive in an environment where I am being hard-pressed to achieve greatness. Having this pressure sometimes makes it difficult to separate my work life and home life, but that is something I have been working on as a personal goal. For the most part, I believe I set a suitable example for my employees to follow.
I learned their cultures and backgrounds. Each student learned different, which allowed me to design an instruction plan to meet the student’s needs. I enjoyed the teaching these students. The community at E. R. Dickson allowed me to work with
Having the chance to experience this Mock Job Interview open my eyes up to a lot of things. Being a Roanoke Valley Early College these are some of the great opportunities that you will receive. In class we took notes on how to properly do an interview from the day that you will walk in the door until the moment you walk out. We learned the expectations on how to properly groom, dressing, sit in the chair, answering questions with length, grammar, eye contact, firm handshake, making resumes and thank you letters.
