What does one’s response to conflict say about them? What is the best response? Studies show that positivity is one of the most effective way to react to conflict. Anne Frank, a young Jewish girl whose diary became “Anne Frank: the Diary of a Young Girl,” always tried to have a positive attitude and make the best of everything in her terrible situation. In “Dear Miss Breed” by Joanne Oppenheim, sixteen-year-old Louise Ogawa wrote in her letters to Miss Breed about how even though the living conditions were ruthless, she was determined to see the light.
Navigation, piloting, and taking are all roles that SWOs can be called to fill. Each of these skills are not found widespread in the civilian world, and learning them would be a unique learning experience. All SWO roles work together, helping develop leadership. An SWO has the opportunity to excel as a leader. I could serve as Commanding Officer over an elite crew and be an authority in every aspect of my Navy assignments.
My future career choice is to become a certified diesel mechanic. I chose this career because ever since I was old enough to walk I have been working on vehicles with my dad and I really enjoy it. I listened to what he told me, I paid attention to the parts as well as the essentials, and I comprehended most of the things I did with him. This career interests me because automotive mechanics is completely different from diesel mechanics.
The career that fascinates me and what I plan to be when Im older, is a Dental Hygienist. A dental hygienist is a stressful job, but it helps a lot of people. You are helping people get better teeth and even look better, because when people have straight pretty teeth, they seem to have an upgrade in their looks. I haven’t always wanted to be a dental hygienist, I had many other career choices. But, something about making people smile when I’m the reason they look good doing it makes me happy.
The career the most interests me is Dental Hygiene. After high school, I plan to attend a two year college studying Dental Hygiene. This career interests me the most because I work well with people and it does not require much schooling. I feel as if I would do very well as a Dental Hygienist because they have selective hours. Another reason this career interest me is that you can work up to make pretty good money for little hours that you would be working.
Career Research Project: Part 4 I originally wanted to interview a lawyer for this assignment because of my interest in it. However, after many inquiries into the availabilities of several lawyers, I realized that getting an interview with them in time for my assignment to be due was not going to be possible, so I went with my Plan B job. My Plan B job is a job that I have wanted for a long time but had planned to have long in the future because of what I believed I needed to have before I could get this Plan B job. However, after my interview and some additional research, I realized that I might get to it sooner than anticipated. I have now moved Plan B up to Plan A because I have a greater interest in it
If I could have any career, I would want to be a Trauma Surgeon. I choose this career because I am fascinated by the human body and its functions. I had found this interest when I was a freshman in high school. My sports medicine teacher taught me the the good that the human body contains and what all it can accomplish. So I signed up to be in an athletic training program and help athletes injured.
I have always wanted to be a surgeon since I was a kid. Doctors were treated like gods in my home country, Ethiopia. I was a shy little boy who dreamt big in my neighborhood and people would make fun of my goal due to the fact that there were no doctors in our neighborhood. They believed that I was not smart and strong enough to be a doctor. Besides my mother and aunt, nobody knew what I was capable of.
Focus 2 Assignment – Reflection Upon completing the Focus 2 career assessment program, I am quite impressed at the quality of information it presents. It allowed me to not only look at careers that would fit my personality, but also those that take into consideration the fields I am already interested in. Also, as with any form of self-assessment, there were strengths and weaknesses that I did not expect based on how I feel I live my life currently. Beginning chronologically, the program had me complete two subjective, current measures of my professional career.
My double major in Criminal Justice & Law, Politics, and Society has directed me into a career in law enforcement and perhaps law school in the future. I want to be immersed in the law enforcement field. I want to understand our criminal justice system as a whole. My interests are white collar crime, investigations, and drug crimes. I would like to acquire the skills to become an outstanding law enforcement officer in the future and cultivate those connections that can help me move my career forward.

During my time at UW-Madison I hope to participate in intramural sports, get a job, receive an excellent education, and much more. The city life offers a diverse culture and allows you to learn about and to appreciate life. As I want to be a part of the nursing program I would utilize the opportunity to work at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and to work alongside other students trying to achieve the same goal as I am.

This job has an awesome pay grade salary while just sitting on the couch. Being an I.T specialist will also help people with their broken machines. Also it is an awesome occupation to learn and get good at.
When I was growing up, multiple people questioned me about my future career, and others even pressured me into certain careers. All the influences I have had over time have formed my idea of the perfect occupation, that fits my personality and interests. The careers I have based my future life plans are a pharmacist or a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Both of these careers require a great deal of school and hard work. My decision of these careers was influenced by both of them being within the medical field, and also both focus on helping people.
