James King is one of two people being tried for the murder of Alguinaldo Nesbitt, as well as the robbery of his drugstore. He is guilty of felony murder, and there is much evidence to support this verdict. Bobo Evans, another perpetrator of this crime, “places Mr. King in the drugstore with him on the 22nd of December. This testimony was backed up by Lorelle Henry” (Myers 256-257). This is significant because Henry is a reliable witness, and she is an elderly, retired librarian with no criminal activity.
Kyle Rittenhouse trial observation On November 2, 2021, opening statements began in the trial of WI v. Rittenhouse. The defendant, Kyle Rittenhouse, is accused of killing two men and seriously injuring a third during the violent protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on August 25, 2020. During the prosecution's opening statements, lead prosecutor Thomas Binger argues that amongst the chaos and violence that occurred during these protests, Mr. Rittenhouse is the only person who kills anyone. The prosecutor makes it clear that the only aspect to be disputed in this case is self-defense and recite Wisconsin statute 939.48 (2) (a).
Clayton Lockett was executed using a three drug cocktail (Midazolam, Pancuronium, and Potassium Chloride) during his execution after being injected he awakened and died a horribly painful death 40 minutes later. The state of Oklahoma was investigated as to why he woke up during the process. They soon sound out that the needle that was put in his vein didn’t fully penetrate his vein. After the investigation the state of Oklahoma had a new protocol to follow.
James Earl Ray plead guilty of assassinating Dr.king, However Ray recanted three days later and wanted a trial. The king family doesn't believe that Ray killed their father they believe the government had something to do with the assassination of their father. Leaders in the black community also don’t believe Ray killed Dr.king. The King Family doesn’t believe that Ray killed their father, they believe Ray was framed and he didn’t even pull the trigger that fatally killed their father.
The CSI Team has been investigating the case: Who killed Ernest Earl? for almost two weeks to try to determine who the culprit was that killed Ernest Earl. A man by the name of Earnest Earl was killed on July 25th 2019 at approximately 6:45pm-7:30pm, Earnest was found at 275 South Street near a dumpster. When Earnest was analyzed by the medical examiner it was found that he had a wound on the left side of his chest. It’s believed that Earnest Earl was 39 years old and was married to Bobbi Rodriguez.
Chief David L. Perry is the current Chief of Police at Florida State University (FSU), and formerly in Albany, GA and Clemson University. Chief Perry describes many situations that arise around a collegiate campus and what measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the FSU campus. The major emphasis throughout the presentation was on safety of the FSU campus. Early on in the presentation Chief Perry made the statement that a plentiful amount occurs behind the scenes that the students are unaware of.
Shortly after 6 pm on April 4th, 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. At the time, King was at the Lorraine Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee . As he was standing on the balcony of his hotel room, he was struck in the head by a sniper. The assassin was none other than a man known as James Earl Ray. It is theorized that James Earl Ray had worked alone in the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.. James Earl Ray was a man known for his racial prejudice.
Background Al Capone was given a son at the age of 19 just weeks before marrying his wife Mae Coughlin. Al Capone wanted to provide for his family in an honest way so he quit his gang lifestyle and began bookkeeping for a construction company. In 1920, Al Capone’s father died from a heart attack. It was around this time Johnny Torrio had invited Capone to work for him in Chicago. Torrio was formerly in the business of gambling and prostitution but had switched to bootlegging after the selling of alcohol had been banned.
What if the murderer of a famous civil rights leader was supported throughout all of his incarceration by the one and only King family. Martin Luther King jr, was a major contribution in history and civil rights. Some people believe that James wasn’t the actual killer but he was an accomplice. The Murder Trial of Biggie Smalls Rathbone, William Unit 7 Assignment CJ 101 Wallace Biggie was one of the most powerful rappers before getting murdered in drive by shooting in March of 1997. At time he was killed the police had many theories of why he got murdered on that day. The police had multiple suspects about who did it but wasn’t sure of who or why they murdered Biggie Smalls. On that day Biggie was on his way to the hotel from the music party. When his SUV came up to the stop light, he could hear someone call his name, so he rolled his back window down to see who that’s when he was shot multiple times in the torso and then the suspects drove away from the murder.
As a class requirement, we were obligated to watch a documentary about Emmett Till. The documentary, titled “The Murder of Emmett Till” was a tell-all about a tragic story of a fourteen-year-old boy from Chicago. Emmett Till was sent to Money, Mississippi to spend the summer with some relatives. In the 1950s, life in Chicago was different than life in Mississippi. Racism was stronger in the south than in the north and Emmett Till was walking into an environment he had never encountered before.
OJ Simpson was an idolized NFL player, actor, and broadcaster. He was loved by all and defied all racial barriers during the 1900s. People didn’t see him for the color of his skin, they saw him as an American hero. This was until June 12, 1994 when Nicole Simpson, OJ Simpson’s ex wife, as well as Ronald Goldman were found murdered. This was the beginning of the end of most Americans respect and adoration for OJ Simpson.
A careful look at the facts known about King’s assassination would lead one to know that Martin Luther King’s assassination was not a conspiracy, it was the work of the criminal James Earl Ray. Although in the end, some may believe that James Earl Ray is innocent or that one of the conspiracies are true, this overlooks the hard facts brought up in the investigations. The lack of definitive proof or witnesses and the changing statements of the people involved leads to an unsure conclusion. The various conspiracies may hold some relevance, however, each conspiracy shows weak points that removes it from the list of plausible theories.
Today, Martin Luther King is loved and praised, but in his time by the highest powers in the American justice system, Martin Luther was viewed as a criminal by J. Edgar Hoover and arguably by the Kennedy administration and Johnson administration. They signed off on the bugging of his home and wherever he was.
