In beef cattle enterprises, the marketing is based on what the final product produced on farm is going to be, weather that be cattle for sale at saleyards, to feedlots, to abattoirs. Most producers barely see the final product so feedback is minimal and producers need to focus on the standards that have been set in their defined market.
