The service user I chose to assess is a 17-year-old Hispanic female whose modified name is Tiana Santos. I provided therapeutic casework services to Tiana for a year in my previous role as a Therapeutic Caseworker at the Children’s Village, a foster care agency. Tiana was placed in foster care after been removed from her mother’s care due to emotional and physical abuse. Tiana’s father abandoned her mother and her youngest sibling when she was 5 years old. Tiana’s memories about her father were very limited due to her young age.
Pleasant Bluffs: Launching A Home-Base Hospital Program While analyzing the case on Pleasants Bluffs, the main problem is how will they come up with a proposal for the pilot program for Pleasant Bluffs home-base hospital care and how to manage it. According to the case, it stated that Graff Salot, the director of Performance Improvement (PI), at Pleasant Bluffs Health System, is tasked with making these changes. (Erskine,2016) Therefore some potential solution might be to complete this task, he must first hired more people for administrative, and clinical. By doing this, will help to better manage the PI department and patients.

The purpose of the mission statement is to declare what goods or services a company or organization intends to provide (Kinicki & Williams, 2016). Based upon this premise, the mission statement for West TN Healthcare shows that the organization intends to provide health care that is both exceptional and compassionate and that by doing so its purpose is to improve the health and well-being of the communities surrounding it (WTH.org, n.d.). West TN Healthcare’s mission statement does meet the criteria set forth as a viable mission statement.

Jane Elliot performed an experiment to show the manifestation of prejudice and its impact on social behavior. This experiment should how the out-group homogeneity effect will manifest itself and how it impacts behavior. Self-fulfilling prophecies influenced the behavior of the participants and fueled the stereotypes. Eliot used confirmation bias throughout the experiment to change the children's behavior. Through their behavior the children demonstrated the illusory correlation many times during the experiment.

Introduction For several decades, government officials and healthcare experts have been discussing the broken and dysfunctional US healthcare system. The US ranks highest for cost and lowest for outcomes. Healthcare accounted for 17.4 percent of the gross domestic product in 2013 (CMS.gov). The Institute for Healthcare Improvement highlighted the quality of healthcare in the US or lack of quality with the 100,000 lives campaign. The Institute for Healthcare Improvement brought national attention and awareness to the epidemic of hospital errors and the loss of life related to those errors.
Hope is not lost for our nations veterans, there are initiatives that may be implemented in order to improve the quality of care. We have identified four key areas that we feel will improve the quality of care for our nations veterans. These areas are; Patient Aligned Care Teams (PACTS), the program of vocational rehab, positive media relations, and universal electronic medical records. PACTS are formed when a veteran works together with multiple care disciplines in order to achieve whole person care and sustain life long wellness (VHA, 2015). These teams focus on patient medical partnerships, access to care, coordinated care among disciplines, and team based care with the veteran as the focus (VHA, 2015).
Physicians and Hospitals go hand in hand when it comes to the medical care of patients, and it is this relationship that allows the patients to receive the care they need and deserve. It is also this relationship that we as health care administrators need to understand. In order to fully understand this relationship we need to define the concept of the integrated physician model. We also need to explain the importance of clinical integration in the strategic planning process, and the dynamics of and controversies surrounding accountable care organizations and alternative approaches to the current health system. I will also explain the advantages and disadvantages for hospitals and physician’s models.
Healthcare Reimbursement Healthcare is made up of many factors. Among those factors are provider reimbursement and the different types of financial methods used by the patients to acquire healthcare services. Provider reimbursement is important and necessary in order to maintain the continuation of healthcare. Like every organization, including non-profit organizations, require revenue in order to pay their healthcare providers, expenses accrued, and to obtain the supplies needed to aid in rendering services. With that said, this is why there are many financial methods such as third-party payers, government agencies, private health insurance, and patient payments.
