A twenty-five-year-old Casey Anthony was accused in the murder of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. After all the evidence was proposed to the jury, Anthony was still found not guilty. According to Bay News, on June 15, 2008, Caylee was last seen by her grandmother. On July 16, 2008, her grandmother later began to claim Caylee was missing. Before Casey Anthony mentioned anything to anyone about her daughter disappearance, it had been over an entire month. She stated to her parents that she didn’t have any idea where her little girl could be. Also, Grand Jury indicted Casey for aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter, and four counts of providing false information. Since she was found guilty, she now faces the death penalty. Casey appeared before a judge and was also charged with a capital crime then places in protective custody at the Orange County Jail. When Anthony’s bond was denied, she then hired Defense Attorney, Jose Baez. There were four hundred parts of evidence. Per to detectives, crime-scene evidence included residue of a heart-shaped sticker found on duct-tape over Caylee’s mouth. Unfortunately, investigators could not capture the photograph. A blanket was found at the crime scene that matched Caylee’s bedding at her grand-parents’ home. Another part of evidence was photos from Anthony’s ex-boyfriend portraying a poster with the caption “Win her over with Chloroform.” Witness John Dennis Bradley stated that Anthony searched for the word “chloroform” eight-four times. This indicated that Anthony planned to commit a murder.
