The best athletes always have an influence on deciding the outcome of the game. Those athletes are expected to make a spectacular play. But, how did athletes get to the point where it's in their ability to make one little move that affects the whole entire game? Athletes don't just start at that point, they have to put all their blood, sweat, and tears into the game they love. Take Damian Lillard for example, when he hit the shot in game seven to send his team to the next round in the playoffs. He was the best choice on the team to take that shot and he showed them why. One of those traits being tough minded. You can't let anyone get under your skin. Block out all that negativity and focus on whatever it is you need to get done. Great athletes are all tough minded, they figured out how to not let people mess with them and cause them to make uncharacteristic actions. Take Kobe Bryant for example, he always kept a steady mind, he would sometimes go back and forth with other players but, he'd never let it affect him. He'd always play the way he wanted to. Like when he was going up against A.I. and got crossed, the crowd went crazy and Kobe knew what just happened too. But he after that play he didn't go out and try to make a spectacular play, he just blocked out the crowd. That's why he was so great, he was always mentally tough and never let anyone affect his play because he wanted to help the team not hurt them. Another great tough minded player is LeBron James, but his biggest threat was never on the court, they were in the stands of Miami and Cleveland, when he left Cleveland to go to Miami he would always be booed by the whole stadium whenever he went back to go play. He knew why, his coaches, his team, and his family all knew why. But he blocked it out and focused
