Cause and effect Homelessness is a problem that affects the wellbeing of people without a home and unfortunately some groups are more at risk than others. For example, indigenous, people with addictions/mental health problems, people fleeing conflict, low income, anyone discriminated against. But it is mosty men, 67% of homelessness is men vs the 29% of women. Homelessness is a major issue but to solve this problem we must understand it. “The situation of an individual, family, or community without stable, safe, permanent, appropriate housing, or the immediate prospect means and ability of acquiring it.” According to homelessnesshub.ca.
