8:00 A.M. December 7,1941 hundreds of Japanese fighter planes attacked the American naval base at Pearl Harbor. 2,000 Americans died and 1,000 were severely injured. Pearl Harbor lead into America joining World War II. which was one big war between Germany, Japan, Italy (Axis) Russia, America, Canada, and Britan (Allies). Pearl Harbor had a huge impact on the U.S. and our supply in oil and rubber.
The bombing of Pearl Harbor took place in Hawaii. 7:55 was the first attack then 1 hour later they came back for more. The Japanese only lost 128 fighter planes. They destroyed pretty much the whole naval base. The leader of this whole attack was Chuichi Naguma.
