The Pearl Harbor attack that occurred in December 7, 1941 was the attack that started everything. The Pearl Harbor attack was the reason that caused America to go to war with Japan. The Japanese thought that they can scare the Americans by bombing Pearl Harbor. After the attack, the Americans were really fierce and they were hungry for revenge. The Japanese did not think that the Americans would do anything back to them, and they thought we would just leave them alone. We did not leave them alone, as a matter of fat we did the complete opposite, America declared war with Japan the next day.
