Another well-known revolution started because of oppression was the North American Revolution. The North American Revolution started in 1774 and ended in 1783. Basically, the North American Revolution was triggered by the Declaration of Independence announced in 1776. The Declaration of Independence was a declaratory document to announce the separation of thirteen colonies from the Great Britain. The thirteen states strongly believed that they had “unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” . For example, the cause of Haitian Revolution was due to oppression from the government and the French Revolution was caused by the introduction of new ideas to the public. Furthermore, these freshly appeared ideas and theories could affect how legislation, society system and social status of different stakeholders. As stated in Ways of the World: A brief Global History, On July 14, 1989, when French were celebrating the bicentennial of French Revolution, a few Chinese students participated in the parade also. These students were expressing their ideal dreams that were related to the French Revolution. Though, the French Revolution ended in 1789, the impact and effect could last for two centuries. Not only long lasting in time, but also not limited in region, the impact and ideas of revolution could be spread to other countries speaking totally different language, and different races. It was noted that, the echoes of a revolution were huge.

In the previous paragraphs, it is mentioned that how did the revolutions formed, and in what ways, the revolutions could affect the world development. Although the impact seems to be beneficial to the world, we should not forget how much the people sacrificed, how many casualties were made and how much the country suffer. History is a story about the past. We should learn from the history and carefully avoid making the same mistakes
