The cause of World War Two has always been a mystery. So many factors go into what really started the worst world war, that one cause can not be focused on. World War Two was a devastating war that lasted 6 years and killed seventy to eighty-five million people. The world suffered as Adolf Hitler, the leader of Germany at the time, ruthlessly murdered millions of Jews and other Europeans. Adolf Hitler rose to power in 1934 and came to an abrupt end in 1945. The world is still recovering from this detrimental time. From the invasion of Poland to Hitler himself, there is no one cause of World War Two, which is why it is a mystery.

The reason Hitler invaded Poland was to land an attack on the soviet union since he saw the soviets as Jewish territory and wanted to rid the world of Jews. The soviet union was not very happy about that. “On September 1, 1939, Germany invaded Poland. To justify the action, Nazi propagandists accused Poland of persecuting ethnic Germans living in Poland. They also falsely claimed that Poland was planning, with its allies, Great Britain and France to encircle and dismember Germany.”(United States Holocaust Memorial Museum ``Invasion of Poland”). To make it seem like Germany was not in the wrong, they accused Plan of threats to make it seem like a self-defense effort. Germany was in a state of crisis when Hitler rose to power, so they clung to him as much as possible, even if he was a terrible person. Hitler was a very calculated man, so he knew how to win over an audience. “Hitler was obsessed with the idea of superiority in the “pure” German race, which he called “Aryan”. Hitler believed that was the only way to gain the necessary “Lebensraum”, or living space for the German race to expand.”(History “WWII”). Hitler believed that German was the only race that was acceptable and wanted to rid the world of all Jewish people. He wanted to expand Germany in order to make more room for his own people. “In 1938 he ordered the burning of the Synagogue; he wanted to mobilize his people by building up a fictitious enemy: The Jew.”(Netflix “Hitler--A Career”). Hitler had no good reason to dislike Jews But he blamed them for so much and caused them so much pain, Hitler had no right to hurt them so much.
