On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, a terrible tragedy occurred, resulting in the twin towers of the World Trade Center to collapse. The towers were stormed by two Islamic planes that were participating in a suicide attack and were burned down in daylight. This attack was believed to be carried out by an Islamic terrorist group that goes by the name of al-Qaeda. During this massacre, there were over 3000 casualties and a huge number of first responders suffered irreversible health complications. Raymond Alexander and his son Robert Alexander were first responders during 9/11. They were both firefighters and even after 16 years, these two men are still recognized for their heroism.
